Developing an Automated Preparation Technology for Individually Quick-Frozen Process of Catfish Fillets [2025-2027, USDA-NIFA-AFRI, $300,000 ($149,655 to Co-PI Lu)]

This project aims to: 1) develop a machine vision-based automated catfish fillet IQF preparation platform, 2) evaluate and optimize singulation and unfolding performance, and 3) evaluate and optimize dewatering, flipping, and turning performance.
